What a joy! To able to welcome a precious new soul into the world and to celebrate such an important occasion for the family with a meaningful and heartfelt Ceremony.

I have extensive choice of themes, verses, prayers, poems – some of which I have written myself to suit the family.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
For Namings and Blessings

From your first enquiry we’ll arrange a preliminary meeting to discuss your family’s needs and preferences. We’ll look at appropriate words and themes, whether you’re including Godparents/ Sponsors/ Mentors,  and the general unfolding of the Ceremony. A Client Resources Folder will be left with you for a few days which contains ideas and copies of Ceremonies previously used – all to trigger your creativity for developing what you would like included.

Once the Client Resources Folder has been returned to me with your further thoughts, a draft will be made and emailed to you. If email is not appropriate, then snail mail can be used. Once details of the draft have been checked you return the draft with any amendments and fine tuning ensues.
Communications stay open so that we can work together to get the very best for you – and let’s enjoy the process!

A New Sister! ©

A new sister! WOW! This is amazing!
Our parents, we thought, were past this behaving!
We look with awe, with curiosity, and with loving intentions -
As we look in her eyes and see our reflections.

We look, and what else do we see?
An angel, a beauty, an addition for we three!
Can we play with her?
Can we join in her growing?
How can we express our support and our knowing?

We’re older now, and more understanding it seems -
We would love to be part of Abbey May’s dreams.
We’re not always there, our own lives and families are developing,
but please let us be part of this precious life enveloping.

We’d love to support our parents and sister,
And come to know Abbey and bring her great pleasure.
Our extended family’s growing apace,
Of this we’re proud and wish her love and grace.
